What is Influ.com.lk? A Sri Lankan creator marketplace: brands book several micro-creators at once, the money is held until the content is live and checked, and creators keep 100% of the price they set.
The short version
Brands come here to book creators. Creators come here to be booked. We sit in the middle, hold the money until the work is done, and check that it was done before anyone is paid.
What makes it different from messaging a creator on Instagram is the middle part. A brand paying a stranger by bank transfer has no recourse if nothing appears, and a creator who posts first has no recourse if the money never arrives. Neither of those is a good deal, and both are the normal way this works in Sri Lanka today.
Why a swarm rather than one creator
A single well-known creator can absorb an entire campaign budget on one post. That same budget across ten smaller creators reaches ten separate audiences instead of one, and spreads the risk of any single post underperforming. Engagement rates also fall as follower counts rise, so smaller creators often deliver more genuine interaction per rupee.
That is what “swarm” means here: several micro-creators booked together as one campaign, with one brief and one payment.
What you see before you book
Every creator has one rate card with three tabs:
- Packages — their price for a post on each platform, in rupees, with the button to add them to your swarm.
- Portfolio — their recent work, grouped by platform.
- Analytics — followers, engagement, average views and, where a platform provides it, audience age, gender and locations. Free to open with any account.
Numbers read from the platform itself carry a ✓ Verified tick; anything else is labelled as the creator’s own figure. In browse you can tick Verified stats only. How to read the tab is explained in reading a creator’s analytics.
Two ways to run a campaign
They book the same creators. The difference is who chooses first, and how fast it moves.
Standard
- Day 0You send the briefEvery creator you chose gets it. Nothing is charged.
- Days 0–3Creators answer72 hours to accept, decline, ask questions, or offer a custom price.
- When the clock stopsYou pay for who acceptedAs soon as every creator has answered (or the 72 hours end), the total is rebuilt around them. 24 hours to pay, or add more creators once.
- By the go-live dateContent goes liveOr 7 days from payment if you left the date blank. 48 hours' grace after.
- AfterWe check, then they are paidA person opens every post before any money is released.
Accelerated
- Hour 0You post the briefEvery creator on that platform is notified. Nothing is charged.
- Hours 0–24Creators bidSealed: nobody sees anyone else's price. You can close bidding early.
- On selectionYou pick and payOne step. The 48-hour clock starts the moment payment clears.
- Within 48 hoursContent goes liveCreators publish and submit their link. No extensions.
- AfterWe check, then they are paidApproval is a person, targeting 3 days. Outside the campaign clock.
What it costs
Nothing to browse, nothing to list yourself, and no subscription either way. We charge a commission on top of the creator’s price when a booking actually happens, and the creator keeps every rupee they quoted. The rate depends on which path you use — see fees and commission.
What is Influ.com.lk used for?
Mostly for three jobs. A brand launching a product books ten or fifteen creators to post in the same week, so the launch is seen across many local audiences at once. A shop or restaurant books a handful of creators in its own city every month as steady word-of-mouth. And a brand that needs content fast — a flash sale, an event, a reply to a competitor — posts an urgent brief and has it live within three days.
Creators use it for the other half of the same deal: brand work that pays reliably, with a clear brief, a deadline they can see and money that is already set aside before they film anything. Creators can also invite other creators with their own referral link, and both earn a bonus when the newcomer is approved — see referring other creators.
How does a booking actually work?
- A brand chooses creators or posts a brief. On a standard campaign the brand picks creators; on an accelerated campaign creators bid.
- Creators say yes, or bid. Nobody is charged for a creator who declines.
- The brand pays, and the money is held. The posting deadline starts from payment.
- Creators publish and submit the link. A person opens every post and checks it against the brief.
- The creator is credited. If a post never appears, the brand is refunded automatically, commission included.
Is it safe to pay a creator I have never met?
That is the problem the platform exists to solve. Your payment is not sent to the creator when you check out; it is released only after a moderator has confirmed the post exists, is public, is on the platform you booked and matches your brief. If something goes wrong after approval you have 14 days to raise it, and both sides and a moderator see the dispute in one thread — see if something goes wrong.
Conversations stay on the platform too. Phone numbers and off-platform handles are blocked in chat, because a deal moved to WhatsApp has none of these protections.
Frequently asked questions
What is Influ.com.lk?
Influ.com.lk is a Sri Lankan influencer marketplace. Brands browse creators on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and Facebook, book several of them in one campaign, and pay once. The money is held until each creator has published and a moderator has checked the post against the brief, so neither side has to trust a stranger with a bank transfer.
Who is Influ.com.lk for?
It is for Sri Lankan businesses that want social media content from real creators, and for creators who want paid brand work without chasing invoices. Most brands on the platform are small and mid-sized companies booking micro-creators, and most creators have audiences built around a city, a language, a hobby or a niche.
Can I see a creator's real statistics before booking?
Yes. Every rate card has an Analytics tab that any signed-in account can open for free. Where a creator has connected a platform, or has a public YouTube channel we can read, the figures come from the platform itself and carry a verified tick. Anything else is clearly labelled as the number the creator entered.
How is it different from messaging a creator directly?
Arranging a post in direct messages leaves both sides exposed: a brand that pays first has no recourse if nothing is posted, and a creator who posts first has no recourse if the money never arrives. On Influ.com.lk the payment is held, the post is checked by a person, and disputes are settled with a written record of what was agreed.
Does it cost anything to join?
No. Creating a brand account, browsing creators, posting a brief and listing yourself as a creator are all free, and there is no subscription. A commission is added on top of the creator's price only when a booking actually goes ahead, and the creator keeps every rupee they quoted.
