Fees and commission are simple: commission is added on top of the creator's price and paid by the brand. Creators keep 100% of what they quote or bid. Standard campaigns are 12%, accelerated are 18%.
Who pays it
The brand. Commission is added on top of the creator’s price, never deducted from it. A creator who quotes LKR 5,000 receives LKR 5,000.
This is worth stating plainly because the other model exists and is common: platforms that take their cut out of the creator’s fee quietly reduce what creators earn and make good ones reluctant to work through them.
The rates
| Campaign type | Commission | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Standard | 12% | The normal rate. |
| Accelerated | 18% | Speed is the product, and a 48-hour turnaround creates more moderation work in less time. |
What there is no charge for
- Browsing creators, or being listed as one
- Posting a brief, standard or urgent
- Messaging a creator before booking
- Any month in which you book nobody — there is no subscription
- A campaign nobody accepts, or an urgent brief nobody bids on
Worked example
A standard campaign booking three creators at LKR 5,000, LKR 7,000 and LKR 4,000:
| Creators receive | LKR 16,000 |
|---|---|
| Platform fee (12%) | LKR 1,920 |
| Brand pays | LKR 17,920 |
The same three on an accelerated campaign would cost the brand LKR 18,880, and the creators would still receive LKR 16,000.
How are fees and commission worked out on an accelerated campaign?
The same way, at 18%. If a brand selects three bids of LKR 5,000, LKR 7,000 and LKR 4,000, the creators still receive LKR 16,000, the platform fee is LKR 2,880, and the brand pays LKR 18,880. The fee is charged on the bids the brand actually selects, not on the budget it posted, so choosing bids below the guide price lowers the total.
When are fees and commission charged?
Only when a booking goes ahead. On a standard campaign the brand pays after the 72-hour answer round closes, for the creators who accepted, and has 24 hours to do it. On an accelerated campaign the brand pays at the moment of selecting creators. Nothing is charged for creators who declined, never answered or were not selected.
Are fees and commission refunded?
Commission is never kept on work that did not happen. A refund for a creator who missed their deadline, used all three proof attempts, or was released returns the creator’s fee and the commission on it. An upheld dispute refunds the booking in full. The details are in if something goes wrong, and every number is listed in every rule and timeframe.
Creators: your side of the money — the wallet, approval and withdrawals — is covered in getting paid.
Frequently asked questions
How much commission does Influ.com.lk charge?
Influ.com.lk charges a 12% platform fee on standard campaigns and 18% on accelerated campaigns. The fee is calculated on the creators' prices and added on top for the brand, so a creator who quotes LKR 5,000 receives LKR 5,000. There is no subscription and no charge for browsing, listing or posting a brief.
Do creators pay any fees or commission?
No. Creators keep 100% of the price they set or bid, because the commission is added on top and paid by the brand. There is no fee to list a profile, answer briefs or bid. The LKR 10,000 withdrawal minimum is a threshold, not a charge: balances below it stay in the wallet and nothing expires.
Why is the accelerated campaign fee higher?
Because speed is the product. An accelerated campaign goes from brief to live posts in about three days, with a 48-hour publishing deadline and no grace period, which means more moderation work in much less time. The 18% fee pays for that, and creators still receive exactly what they bid.
Is the commission refunded if a campaign goes wrong?
Yes. When a creator never posts, or a booking is cancelled, the brand is refunded that creator's fee and the commission on it. When a dispute is upheld, the brand is refunded in full including commission. If nobody accepts a standard brief or bids on an urgent one, nothing is charged at all.
