Getting paid as a creator

Updated 19 Sep 2026 3 min read

In short

Getting paid as a creator works like this: your fee moves into your wallet once a moderator has approved your post. You can withdraw to your bank once the balance reaches LKR 10,000, and nothing expires.

When the money moves

Not when you submit, and not when the brand pays — when a moderator has opened your post and approved it. That manual check is what the brand is buying, and it is the reason a brand is willing to pay a stranger up front at all.

You are credited the full amount you quoted or bid. Our commission was added on top and paid by the brand; it was never yours to lose.

Your wallet

Your wallet page shows four separate things, and the difference matters:

  • Booked, not posted yet — paid for by the brand, waiting on you
  • Posted, waiting on us — submitted, with a moderator
  • Approved — signed off and yours
  • Did not go through — with the reason

Below that is every movement in and out, with a running balance. Referral bonuses appear here too, as their own lines — see referring other creators.

Withdrawing, step by step

  1. Save your bank account. Add it under Payout details in your account. You need your password to change it later.
  2. Reach the minimum. The wallet shows how close you are. From LKR 10,000 a Withdraw box appears with your balance filled in; you can take all of it or part of it.
  3. Request it. Press Request it. One request can be waiting at a time, and you can cancel it while it waits.
  4. We send it. A person makes the bank transfer and records the bank’s reference against your request. You are emailed the moment it has gone, usually within three business days.

Your wallet is debited only when the money is actually sent, with the bank reference on the line. A request that is waiting, cancelled or declined costs you nothing.

How long does getting paid as a creator take?

From the moment your post is live, it depends mostly on how quickly you submit the link. Moderators target three days from submission to approval, and your fee is credited to your wallet the moment they approve. Submitting as soon as the post is public, on the platform you were booked for, with the paid-partnership label, is the fastest route — see submitting proof.

Can money be taken back after I am paid?

Only if a brand’s dispute about that post is upheld: for example, the post was taken down, was not what was briefed, or was changed after approval. Then the credit is reversed with a separate entry in your wallet history — the original line is never edited — and a warning is recorded. You are part of the dispute thread and can give your side before any decision; see if something goes wrong.

How do I keep my payout details up to date?

From Payout details in your account. You need your password to change them, you are emailed every time they change, and the full account number is shown only to administrators, one at a time, with each view recorded. Each withdrawal request notes the bank and last four digits it is going to, so update your details before you ask rather than while a request is waiting.

Frequently asked questions

When do creators get paid on Influ.com.lk?

When a moderator has opened your post and approved it. Submitting a link does not trigger payment, and neither does the brand paying, because the manual check is what the brand is paying for. Approval targets three days from submission, and the full amount you quoted or bid moves to your wallet the moment it is approved.

What is the minimum withdrawal?

LKR 10,000. Once your wallet balance reaches that amount you can request a withdrawal of any amount up to your balance. Balances below the minimum stay in your wallet until they reach it, nothing expires, and nothing is deducted for leaving money there. All rates, fees and payouts on Influ.com.lk are in Sri Lankan rupees.

How long does a withdrawal take?

A person on our team makes the bank transfer, so it is not instant. The standard we hold ourselves to is three business days from your request. You are emailed the bank reference the moment it has been sent, and your wallet is only debited at that point, so a request that is still waiting has not cost you anything.

Are my bank details safe?

Yes. Payout details are encrypted before they are stored, and changing them requires your account password. Every change is emailed to you. Only an administrator can see a full account number, one creator at a time, and every time they do is recorded. Data exports show only the last four digits.

What if an approved payment is wrong?

Raise a dispute from the booking on your campaigns page within 14 days of approval and explain what is wrong. It opens a thread with the brand and our moderators, and a moderator replies with a written decision. You can also contact us about wallet questions that are not about a single booking.
