Getting listed as a creator

Updated 19 Sep 2026 3 min read

In short

To get listed as a creator, apply through the onboarding form, set your own price for each platform, and wait for a person to review it. Approved creators get an email with a link to set their password.

Applying

The form takes about four minutes. You give your name, email and mobile, your location and category, then add each platform you want to be booked on with your handle, your follower count and your price for a post there.

You set your own prices, one per platform, with a minimum of LKR 1,000. There is no ceiling. You keep 100% of whatever you set — our commission is added on top and paid by the brand, never taken out of your rate.

If another creator told you about us, put their code in the Referral code field, or open the link they sent you and it is filled in for you. It is optional and has no effect on your review. When you are approved, you both get the referral bonus in your wallets — see referring other creators.

What happens next

A person reviews every profile, usually within one to two working days. We are checking that the account is real, that it is yours, and that the followers look genuine.

When you are approved we email you, and that email contains a link to set your password. Open it and you are in. If you never received it, ask us to resend it — we can, and the new link replaces the old one.

Verify your numbers (optional)

Once you are in, your dashboard offers to connect your TikTok, Instagram and Facebook accounts; YouTube is read from your public channel with nothing to connect. Connected numbers carry a verified tick on your rate card and in browse, and verified creators are shown first when everything else is equal. It is read-only and you can disconnect any time. If you would rather not, your profile stays complete with the numbers you entered, marked as yours — see verifying your numbers.

What makes a profile get booked

Brands filter by platform, price, followers, location and category, then look at your work. The three things that most often lose a booking are: no portfolio links, a follower count that does not match your engagement, and a price with no context for why it is what it is.

Your on-time delivery record is shown to brands once you have one. On urgent campaigns it matters more to them than your follower count.

What does a moderator check before I get listed as a creator?

  • That the account exists, is public and belongs to you
  • That the follower count you entered matches the profile
  • That the followers and engagement look genuine rather than bought
  • That each link points at the platform it is listed under

If something does not check out we tell you what, so you can fix it and apply again. Links that do not belong to the platform named are caught as you type in the form, before you ever submit.

Can I change my profile after I am approved?

Yes, from your account. Some changes go live the moment you save: prices, follower counts, portfolio links, bio, category, location, your private mobile number and removing a platform. Others are checked by a moderator first, because they change who brands think they are booking: your name, your profile photo, a platform handle, or adding a new platform. Your current profile stays live while a change waits, and you are emailed either way.

A brand that already has you in their swarm keeps your old price for 72 hours after you change it, and a booking already agreed never changes price.

How do brands decide who to book?

They filter by platform, price, followers, location and category, then open your rate card: your packages, your portfolio and, for signed-in brands, your analytics. Next to your rating they see what you have actually done: your on-time delivery rate, campaigns completed, how quickly you usually reply and how often you answer briefs. Those appear once there are at least three bookings or conversations behind them — until then your card says “New to Influ” rather than a number that means nothing. Answering briefs promptly, even with a no, builds that record; see answering a brief.

Paid posts must carry the platform’s own paid-partnership label; submitting proof explains why that matters for getting paid.

Frequently asked questions

How do I become an influencer on Influ.com.lk?

Fill in the creator onboarding form with your name, email, mobile, location and category, then add each platform you want to be booked on with your handle, follower count and price. A moderator reviews the profile, usually within one to two working days, and emails you a link to set your password once you are approved.

How many followers do I need to join?

There is no fixed minimum. Brands on Influ.com.lk book micro-creators for their local, engaged audiences rather than for sheer size. A moderator checks that the account is real, that it is yours and that the followers look genuine, so an honest follower count with real engagement matters far more than a big number.

Do I have to connect my social media accounts to get listed?

No. Connecting is a choice, never a requirement, and your profile is complete without it. If you do connect, brands see your numbers read straight from the platform with a verified tick, and verified creators are listed first when other things are equal. You can connect or disconnect at any time from your dashboard after you are approved.

Someone gave me a referral code. Where do I use it?

Type it into the Referral code field on the join form, or open the link they sent you and it fills in by itself. It is optional and does not affect your review. When a moderator approves your profile, you and the creator who invited you each get the referral bonus in your wallets.

Can I pause bookings while I am away?

Yes. From your account you can pause bookings for up to 90 days at a time. Your packages leave browse and carts and urgent briefs stop arriving, but your profile stays visible so brands can find you later. Bookings you had already agreed before pausing still need to be delivered.
