Why hotels and tour operators book creators

Travel is chosen by watching. A creator walking through your villa at sunset, eating at your restaurant and swimming in your pool shows a guest exactly what they will get, in a way a brochure cannot. Sri Lankan travel creators reach local holidaymakers planning long weekends and school holidays, and some reach the diaspora planning a trip home.

Timing a stay

  2. Send one brief and pay once. Your payment is held. Each creator has 72 hours to accept.
  3. Creators post. A person checks every post against your brief before the creator is paid.
  4. Missed deadlines are refunded. Automatically, platform fee included.

Questions people ask

How much do travel influencers charge in Sri Lanka?

Each creator on Influ.com.lk sets their own price per post, from LKR 1,000, shown on their rate card. The stay itself is usually provided by the hotel and should be written into the brief. A 12% platform fee is added at checkout, and nothing is charged for creators who decline.

Should a hotel pay a travel vlogger or offer a free stay?

Most creators expect both: the stay so they can make the content, and a fee for the work of filming, editing and posting it to their audience. On Influ.com.lk the fee is the price on their rate card, and the stay is agreed in the brief, so there is no uncomfortable negotiation afterwards.

Can I book travel influencers for a hotel outside Colombo?

Yes. Creators travel for stays, and many are based outside Colombo, including in Kandy and Galle. Filter by niche and platform, check each creator's recent travel content, and state the dates, location and what is included in your brief before you pay.
